CPS WINTER OLYMPICS |
On Friday, February 12 we will be holding Winter Games here at CPS. Students will be outside participating in a variety of Olympic events. Students will be outside for much of the day. They must be wearing approrpiate clothing. Following the events, each class will enjoy hot chocolate. Please bring a plastic (non-breakable) mug. No mug- no hot chocolate. |
Walk to School Wednesday |
See our tree across from the gym with the leaves of student transportation from Walk to School Wednedsay. Students recieved a leaf, colour-coded according to their mode of transportation (Green for walkers and bus takers, brown for drivers). The idea is to green our school by having all students who can walk, walk. We will be updating info and tracking it throughout the winter. Yeah Walk to School Wednesdays!!! |
Clean Water Project |
Thanks to everyone who supported the MacMillan Fundraiser. Orders should be in the last week of February.
The enrichment group sold raindrops to raise donations for Sierra Leone. So far over $1600 has been raised. The goal for the year is $5000 which will be used to build a well in Africa. CPS is working with Free the Children on this initiative. |
